We believe that children are full and active participants in our faith community. They are welcome at all events, all worship gatherings, and all community gatherings. We believe that God has called us to make room for one another, and we are committed to having children in our midst. Because of that, we always welcome children to attend the worship gathering in its entirety. We are not bothered by ordinary noises and disruptions.

However, we realize that sometimes you need space to worship without them, so you may choose to allow them to participate in our Kids' Community. Because we feel it is important for children to be part of what we do communally each Sunday, children remain with parents during the music. Afterward the parents are dismissed to drop off the children at the Kids' Community room, where they will listen to Bible stories, play, and create art. Currently, we offer care and curriculum up to age 8 (though older kids are welcome to join in with Kids' Community or hang out with us in the gathering space).

Missio Dei is committed to providing a loving, safe place for your child. We require all our volunteers to undergo a criminal background check and to be connected to our community for an extended time before becoming volunteers.
