1 Thessalonians 5:24

Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own].

I’m paraphrasing, but I’ve always looked at this in the light of God is faithful to be faithful. This has always stood out to me that His word is concrete and this always encourages me to believe Him.

I don’t walk in a “name it, claim it” mentality, but if the principle is biblical, we can stand by and on His promises and know He is faithful to accomplish it.

I don’t want to coerce God into doing what I believe His will is, but I know if I partner with Him in His promises, He will be faithful in His faithfulness.
